Details

Wyeast 3333 German Wheat Yeast produces bright beer without filtration and a beautiful and delicate balance of banana esters and clove phenolics. It is the perfect choice for use in a Kristalweizen. 

Recommended Styles include Hefeweizen, Weizenbock, Dunkelweizen, Weissbier, Roggenbier, and Sahti. 

Flocculation: High

Attenuation: 70-76

Temperature: 63-73

ABV: up to 10%

Tips and Tricks. The balance can be manipulated towards banana ester production through increasing fermentation temperature, increasing the wart density, and decreasing the pitch rate. Over pitching can result in a near complete loss of banana character. Sulfer will dissipate with conditioning.
