We strongly recommend adding an ice pack to your liquid yeast order. We are located in Texas and even in the "winter" here it is sometimes hot enough here to harm yeast during shipment.

This homebrew lager yeast is from the Alps of southern Bavaria, this yeast produces a beer that is well balanced between malt and hop character. The excellent malt profile makes it well suited for Bocks, Doppelbocks, and Oktoberfest style beers. Very versatile lager yeast, it is so well balanced that it has gained tremendous popularity for use in Classic American style Pilsners. Also this yeast is good for a Helles style lager beer. Pitched into 5.5 gallons of German pilsner wort from a 3L starter. Nice krausen forming in less than 24 hours at 48 degrees. (Posted on 3/4/2018)
Tasty results in a Munich Helles Review by Gavin

Been on a bit of a german beer kick of late and this yeast has worked out very well in a simple Munich Helles. More lagers planned with this yeast. (Posted on 8/9/2016)
