This yeast can produce complex, malty, and strong flavorful Scottish syle ales. This a very versatile yeast and be used for many uses. Hop character is not muted as with the White Labs WLP002. I use this yeast all the time and it is perfect for Scottish style ales and my go to yeast for Wee Heavy ales, be sure to make a starter for higher gravity beers. (Posted on 8/9/2016)
