We strongly recommend adding an ice pack to your liquid yeast order. We are located in Texas and even in the "winter" here it is sometimes hot enough here to harm yeast during shipment.

White Labs Edinburgh Scottish Ale (WLP028) Yeast produces pear and melon esters that pair well with hop and malt derived notes. This versatile yeast has a high alcohol tolerance making it suitable for strong Scotch styles and Barleywines. 

Flocculation: Medium

Attenuation: 70-75%

Temperature: 65 -70 F

ABV: up to 12%

Tips and Tricks:  This strain that can be neutral at the low end of the recommended fermentation temperature range or provide more esters at the higher range.
