In this episode, we have the co-founder and Master Brewer of Revolver Brewing Co, Grant Wood, in the studio with us to talk about his experience in the brewing industry in Texas and nationally, including a few high-gravity brewing tips based on his time at Sam Adams.

Grant came back to Texas in 2012 to help open Revolver Brewing Co. in Granbury after spending a over a decade as a brew master at Sam Adams (aka The Boston Beer Co), where he developed a variety of popular beers, including high-gravity beers like Utopias and Millennium. He left Boston with a vast amount of experience that he has used to develop an interesting and tasty series of beers for Revolver, including their incredibly popular Blood and Honey. Grant is also a certified Cicerone and it may surprise you to find out that he actually started his brewing career here in Texas at the Pearl Brewery in San Antonio. And before he left for Boston, he spent some time at Lone Star. So, talk about some serious Texas beer brewing experience!

We hope that you enjoy and learn from this episode as much as we did! Be sure to make the trip out to Revolver Brewing Co as soon as possible to try their beers. Don't forget to share with your friends. Especially anyone interested in the overall history of the craft movement since the 80s!
