Description

Briess Black Malt contributes dark brown to black color and a dry roasted, sharp to neutral flavor. Use for color adjustment for all beer styles and use with other roasted malts for mild flavored dark beers. This malt has little effect on foam color. Use1-3% of the total malt content of a recipe for color in all styles of beer with little or no added flavor; use 1 -10% in Porter and Stout.
