Hardy Yeast Review by Wesley
Rating
I recently used this yeast for my Oktoberfest. Hurricane Harvey decided to crash the lagering party. In the wake of the storm I lost power for five days. My beer was approaching the end of lagering when this occurred. Due to the loss of power, my chest freezer rose in temp to 78 degrees. I thought my beer was lost but decided to keep it just to see how it would hold up in this situation. I'm pleased to say the beer has turned out great with minimal defects. W-34/70 is and will continue to be my go to yeast for lagers! (Posted on 9/13/2017)
Bottling Yeast Review by Jonathan

I've used this as my primary bottling yeast for years- if you do a week of warm conditioning followed by a week or two of cold conditioning your ales will have great carbonation and super fine bubbles. Fairly neutral in terms of flavor additions when used in this manner. (Posted on 6/10/2017)
