    Have used the OYL-114 to ferment a few German Pils, BoPils, Helles, and Dortmunder export. Even used on a Mexican lager. All fermented in upper 50’s to low 60’s with a diacetyl rest. All have been super clean and crushable with grain to glass in 4 weeks or less. No excessive sulfur or diacetyl off flavors. If you are looking for a house lager strain, you can’t go wrong with OYL-114!

  2. Great lager yeast w/ wide temperature range

    I've been very impressed by this yeast. I've been fermenting a lot of lagers lately with many a higher temps to speed up fermentation (58-62°F). Me "go to" for the warmer lager fermentation was Wyeast 2124, but when they were out of stock a few months back, I had to find an alternative...enter OYL-114. I've fermented several lagers now with this strain in the low 60's and it ferments super clean and drops super clear. Great product
