Omega Bayern Lager Yeast (OYL-114) is thought to have come from the oldest traditional brewery in Munich. This German strain produces a clean, crisp lager with both low sulfur and low diacetyl production.

Great lager yeast w/ wide temperature range Review by Jon
I've been very impressed by this yeast. I've been fermenting a lot of lagers lately with many a higher temps to speed up fermentation (58-62°F). Me "go to" for the warmer lager fermentation was Wyeast 2124, but when they were out of stock a few months back, I had to find an alternative...enter OYL-114. I've fermented several lagers now with this strain in the low 60's and it ferments super clean and drops super clear. Great product (Posted on 5/15/2018)
