no depth of flavor Review by Corey
Rating
To start, this is a fast alternative to liquid (no starter, just rehydrate and pitch) With that said, I've had the same experience with this dry lager yeast as the other dry lager yeasts. This yeast just does not have the same depth of flavor that I get from liquid lager yeasts. This lager yeast is boring tasting with no character. Depending on your recipe, this might be what you need - neutral flavor. (Posted on 12/31/2016)
