Typical Alpha Acid Range: 3 - 5%
Liberty has a mild, slightly spicy aroma. Its lineage includes Hallertau Mittelfruh and it’s a half-sister to Ultra, Mt. Hood, and Crystal. Liberty is best used for aroma, not bittering, in Lager, Pilsner, Bock, Kolsch, Wheat.
Possible substitutions: US or German Hallertau, German Tradition, Mt. Hood
