Weyermann Carahell is a German caramel malt used to add a fuller body and better head retention, improve malt aroma, and give a deeper color to the beer styles listed below. 10 – 15% of the total malt content can be Weyermann Carahell in homebrew Hefe-Weizen, Pale Ale, Golden Ale, Oktoberfest, Maibock. Use up to 30% of the total malt content for Berliner Weisse, Light Beer, alcohol-reduced beer, or non-alcoholic beer.
