Unlike other standard and wide-mouth carboys in the market, the FerMonster features smooth, ribless sides. This helps to reduce the residual yeast and sediment build-up, making cleaning simple. A 4" wide-mouth opening reduces spillage and the need for additional equipment when filling or cleaning the FerMonster.

Other features include:

-Available in 6 gallon and 7 gallon sizes

-Large enough capacity to be used as a primary or secondary fermenter

-Brilliantly clear with built-in 5, 6 and 7* gallon markings (*7 gallon marking will only appear on the 7 gallon version)

-Made with food-grade plastic and BPA-free

-Lid is constructed as one piece, providing an airtight seal

Great fermentation vessel Review by Clint

If you are doing 5 gallon batches, this needs to be your jam. Light, easy to clean and you can add a spigot to transfer to keg or bottling bucket. It also has plenty of headspace for 5 gallon batches. This uses a #10 stopper. (Posted on 4/10/2018)
Great for the price Review by Austin

Really like these. Opening is wide enough to really get down into the fermenter to clean, and the bottom makes it ridiculously easy to rack the beer off the yeast cake and trub. Yes, the plastic is a little flimsy, but the overall design is completely worth it. (Posted on 3/31/2018)
Good value but cheap plastic Review by Caleb
Rating
Good value considering that the 5 gallon fermonster is almost the same price. Brewing a 5 gallon batch gives plenty of head space for good aeration. It has a nice big hole for reaching in and cleaning. If you buy this you will need a #10 cork for your air lock.

What I didn't like is that the plastic is flimsy. If I could have my money back on this purchase I would put it towards a conical fermenter. (Posted on 1/17/2017)
Advantage over glass Review by Christopher

Big advantage over the glass carboys in both being lighter and much easier to clean and sanitize. Also because of the conical base the sediment falls off center to the sides making racking much cleaner. (Posted on 11/15/2016)
