The brewers over at Rabbit Hole have been nice enough to give us their recipe for their Rapture Fusion Brown Ale. This rich bold brown ale is a combination of an American Brown Ale and an English Brown Ale.

From the breweries website:
Rabbit Hole Brewing’s Rapture makes a statement, bringing the bold back to Brown Ales. A rich, toasted malt profile characterizes this English/American Fusion Brown Ale, with Pacific coast hops providing a balancing bitterness and subtle citrus character. A generous amount of Brown malt provides this beer with its signature toasted bread hook and ensures it stands apart from the normal. Are you ready for our Rapture?

Everyone Loved it. Review by LOUIS
I brewed this and put it on tap. Filled friends growlers and they loved it. I must say the beer was very smooth and tasty. I did let it age and extra two weeks in the secondary because I was out of town for a week and was very pleased. (Posted on 10/21/2018)
Superb and perhaps better than expected Review by Catoptric
I had just become familiar with Rabbit Hole Brewing when I happened upon their product locally in north Texas, and I was fortunate enough to come across it here, so it was a no brainer to pick it up. Because consumer goods require more stringent filtering and due to products sometimes requiring longer duration to reach consumers, a homebrew beer can sometimes give some advantages; and this product did not disappoint. Despite my batch having pellicle (which might have resulted from creating a rootbeer from scratch and improper sanitation) this beer turned out with not the slightest hint of contamination (as I waited a little longer the pellicle turned into a nice foam, and appeared similar to top fermentation, despite fermentation being rather complete as far as I could tell.) It's a very good beer and I will likely return to it to improve on my brewing technique; though the gravity likely was high as well as fermentation sufficient, some of the things I will improve upon are increased circulation of the wort to improve clarity, and perhaps if I hadn't been rushed for time to bottle I would have transferred to secondary (part of why I didn't was to prevent cross contamination) and perhaps used some clarifying agent in the fermenter.) I also utilized burton salt which seemed good for the boil, and did use irish moss; however I don't see this beer being flawed in any way by leaving some haze, which could likely settle by cold crashing it prior to bottling in addition to what I mentioned. This is a great opportunity and I hope Rabbit Hole Brewing gets more exposure. (Posted on 8/28/2018)
