Lovibond Range: 1.7 – 3.2
Weyermann Acidulated Malt is designed to help in the reduction of wort-pH, which will lead to improved flavor stability, well-rounded beer flavor, a better mash, intensified fermentation, and a lighter color. Use this malt in Pilsner, Light Beer, Berliner Weisse, and Wheat beer.
Use 1 - 5% of the total malt content of a recipe (10% for sour styles). Note: pH 3,4 – 3,6

I use a little of this in nearly every grist for my full-volume no-sparge setup. Thinner mashes often need some aditional acid. This malt provides this in predictable quantities. (Posted on 8/9/2016)
